When looking to purchase a Swimming Pool for your home, most people try to get the most pool for the least amount of money. A Vinyl Liner pool will cost you much less upfront than a Fiberglass Pool. You can usually save anywhere from $4,000.00 to almost $10,000.00 upfront. The key word is Up Front, in the long run a quality Fiberglass Pool will save you money. Vinyl Liner Pools require a lot more maintenance and up keep versus a Fiberglass Pool. It is a much better value, to purchase a smaller Fiberglass Pool than to purchase a larger Vinyl Liner Pool. With a Vinyl Liner Pool you will need to replace the liner at least every 8 to 10 years. The cost to replace a liner, professionally installed, is anywhere from $3,000.00 to upwards of $5,000.00 plus. With replaceing the liner once to twice you will have the difference of a comparable Fiberglass Pool. It is much easier to keep a Fiberglass Pool cleaner, with their duable shells. I would always reccommend purchasing a fiberglass pool with a qaulity colored finish. The white and light blue finishes tend to stain easily.
